Striking that perfect balance

The key is losing weight and gaining lean muscle and definition is the following:

1) Not eating too much
2) Not eating too little
3) Not eating the right foods
4) Eating too much of the wrong foods
5) Not exercising too much
6) Exercising too little
7) Relying too much on one form of exercise
8) Not challenging oneself enough in exercise
9) Challenging oneself too much in exercise, ie, overtraining

See where it’s all leading? It’s a constant series of checks and balances, and there’s no single magic bullet. You have to monitor constantly, check constantly. Key point that you’re not fulfilling the above requirements? Plateauing for more than 2-3 weeks.
