Yesterday was day one of the three day Shakeology Cleanse! I did a modified version of the standard one floating out there (rants about which forthcoming, lol) based on a 5 day juice cleanse I did a while back. Cleanses are great after a weekend binge, the start or the end of a workout program, or just as a nice reboot. I like to think of it as “ctrl-alt-del”ing my system. 🙂
Here’s what I had for today:
Breakfast: 1 frozen banana, water, and 1 scoop tropical strawbery Shakeology
Snack: 1 grapefruit
Lunch: 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1 scoop tropical strawberry Shakeology
Snack: 1 grapefruit, and 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1 scoop tropical strawberry Shakeology
Dinner: carrots, red pepper, green onion, garlic, parsley, spinach, and cherry tomatoes juiced with some cayenne and a dash of tabasco. Tasty!
So high raw (not 100% due to the almond milk), low fat vegan. 🙂
